Forgotten Summer Frederick Semken

World War II was almost over. A young teenage boy on a summer seashore vacation wasn't thinking of the millions of people who had died from that conflict. His only concern was to diligently follow the dictates of an overly scrupulous conscience. Yet events occur that make him face memories he had repressed of the previous summer, when he had different priorities. A young man who takes an interest in him helps to bring this out, as does an older, sexually precocious teenage girl.
