Deanna is back, and the world of trouble she was in has trailed behind her. King becomes a threatening problem causing things to become difficult when dealing with him. Amari has progressed past the "friend zone," and things couldn't be better for him and Deanna. That is until tragedy strikes close to home. With graduation gracing the month of June, Deanna wants nothing more than to finish the 8th grade and to start over in high school.
