Bleed is author Ryan Adam's modern take on the vampire myth. Luis Estrada is a former chemical engineer turned criminal who now moves about Baltimore's seedy underworld working for the highest bidder. Critically wounded when a mission goes wrong and the rest of his team is killed, he is nursed back to health by a mysterious woman from his past. She attempts to recruit him in her epic struggle against evil, but he's more concerned about why the job turned sour. Can he deny his feelings for her in order to figure out who hired his team and sent them to their deaths?
