With the spectre of border closure looming over those two beautiful countries like a malign star, the border conflict between America and Mexico is like the tragic love affair between two star-crossed lovers... Hence Archangel Ariel makes a mediation attempt, courageously claiming that Mexico and America are a dysfunctional family, but that divorce is not the answer - as the US-Mexico border closure would have a catastrophic impact, with millions of Mexican people needing to cross the border to get to their jobs to earn money for their families. So with Archangel Ariel's appeal for love and economic stability, the US-Mexico border closure might be averted yet. Luckily there is also some common ground to work with - both Americans and Mexicans love to visit each other's countries - in the form of thousands of Mexicans pouring in north, in search of a commercialised taste of the American dream; and thousands of Americans crossing south seeking eternal youth in the form of cheap drugs, porcelain teeth and Botox.
