They say history repeats itself as there are philosophies that serve as the undercurrent for particular beliefs and behaviors rooted not only in a culture, but are also quietly passed onto another culture. At some point the under riding philosophy will again surface, resulting in history repeating itself. Jesus came to walk among the poor, the prostitutes and the lost, bringing them dignity, healing, and forgiveness. Not only those in the world, but many inside the four walls of the church wonder why Christians of today aren't following the footsteps of Jesus. If you're not ready to serve others, you're not ready to serve Christ. Jesus is looking for elemental, childlike faith, not religious rules. The world doesn't care about your title; they just want love, acceptance and dignity. Are you living out of Jesus' philosophy or the Pharisee philosophy?
