The Book of Morton is a history and genealogy of Ezekiel Morton's family, beginning in the late 1700's in North Carolina and following the family into South Carolina. In addition to over 400 properly placed family members there are facts, biographies, family lore, and background stories told to preserve those things remembered about the family's migration through the farms, cotton mills, and social changes of the post-reconstruction South.
