Calvin Harris is caught up in the mundane of life. He spends his days working at Jona?s Bar & Grill and his nights doing poetry gigs in the SpeakEasy Café. One evening Calvin receives a phone call and an invite to one of the newest nightspots in town, on a double date, by a woman in whom he grows fond of. After a night of fun and excitement, Calvin begins to take interest in his life and his newfound relationship with this woman. There?s just one problem though?this woman?s best friend has a thing for Calvin also, and she doesn?t mind showing it. What starts out as newfound love then becomes a mix up of conflicting emotions and deceiving relationships. Calvin persists at making things work until he meets a man who knows all too well of him and someone who works him out a deal that could make him a star.
