Modest II is the son of a renowned hero and his namesake. Living in the shadow of a legend isn't always easy but he makes it through by keeping his head down and plying his trade as a carpenter.
Modest's humble life is thrust into jeopardy. The neighboring city-state of Matchimanito is under threat by a massive predatory monster - the Mocreech. If a hero, if Modest, doesn't step up to slay the creature dozens will be slaughtered.
Modest's fears and insecurities may prove to be deadlier foes than the Mocreech as he makes his journey from carpenter to the warrior his father was and Matchimanito needs him to be.
