The year is 1985 and Butch Casady is a no-nonsense kind of guy.




Raised blue collar, he lives in a small town in the midwest. He works hard, plays hard, and takes care of his beloved grandmother.




Covering the late shift at his towing company, he decides to stop at the convenience store before heading home for the night.




That's when he first crosses paths with Francine.




Looking desperate - and hungry - he helps her with her groceries. And even though he doesn't see her again, for some reason, the memory of the girl sticks with him.




Until he's called to tow a broken down car alongside Route 8.




And has a chance encounter with Francine once more. Sort of.




No longer timid and shy, this girl has obviously been through a lot in the two years since he last saw her. But is she ready for what it means to owe a favor to the town's notorious bad boy?
