He received his B. S Organizational Supervision from The University of Akron. He is the Founder/CEO of The Young Scholars Mentoring Center in Akron, Oh, In 2017 he began his career as a motivational speaker, sharing his experiences with inmates at correctional institutions across the state of Ohio. He is an Author and owner of Our Voices Publishing, a Master Barber and owner of Y. S. M. C Barbershop. He is the father of 17 year old Andrew Zamir and God Father to four year old Madden Maxwell. He was recently honored at the 30th Annual Salute to Significant African American Males given on behalf of the Ohio Black Women's Leadership Caucus of Akron.
