HOME MOVIES is a mystery that moves with the speed of a tropical storm. Buddy Rosenís confortable life as a father, friend, and fun-loving kindergarten teacher, also includes an unusual hobby: collecting castoff home movies that he discovers at swap meets. As he views his most recent find, the flickering image of a manís face catches his eye, and the memories it evokes unleash a riptide of questions. With the suddenness of a summer downpour, the impact of that image expands from a dim and cloudy blur to a flood of dark and dangerous threats on his life, forcing Buddy to confront and rethink everything he thought he knew about his past.
