What. Lionel Goulet
What.
Lionel Goulet
Pretty-much everyone believes in God. Belief is easy. How about, understand? Understand God? Isn't that supposed to be impossible? Maybe. Maybe not. A lot of people characterize themselves as "spiritual but not religious," and for good reason. We all know what God looks like, to us, but religion is so empty. People are looking for comfort, meaning, substance; trying to find the ghost in the machine. Here's an attempt to do that. You get to decide if it works. Humanity has progressed enormously in the thousands and thousands of years of our travels. We have made great strides since the Upanishads, since the Gita, the Tao, the Testaments, the Qur'an, the 98 Theses, even since Science and Health. Everything is more sophisticated now than it used to be. We know better.
It is time for a 21st Century image of God.
The old image, weighed down with dogma, tradition, ritual...has a grain of truth beneath the surface. It's time to reveal it again, get back to the garden. Life leaves you clues if you look for them. The first chapter, "What We Are," defines us in a unique new way.
The second chapter, "What God Is," defines a new image of God.
The third chapter, "What It's All About," places humanity firmly in the center of our own reality. Your image of God is your image of you. It's time for a better one.
