I was always told it was OK. That it was a part of growing up. But when does it stop being a "phase" and starts becoming a problem? At 26 I woke up. I made the decision to cut alcohol out of my life. And since that day, I have not looked back. This isn't as much a story about all the terrible things that happened during my drinking years as it is about the life I created in sobriety. That's what I'm here to share. We have the power to create our most beautiful and fun lives, without alcohol. We have the power to dismantle the stigma that has cloaked the words addiction, alcoholic, and sobriety for far too long. This is just a story of a girl who woke up one day and decided that she could co-create the life of her dreams, despite what society says.
