A Journey Back is the story of an ordinary man who has struggled to make his way in one world, and failed, only to discover clarity and strength in the world he had left behind so many years before. Ray Black finds himself, almost against his will, returning to the Indian Reservation where he'd spent his childhood. What he finds there, instead of emptiness, is lost family, old friends and a cultural identity that will change his understanding of himself and the world around him. His Native American heritage provides the foundation for a new life but leads him to the discovery of a crime against Mother Earth that violates the laws of man and the spirituality of his people.
