Frosty Deadman Mark Breiland
Frosty Deadman
Mark Breiland
In the small town of Walpurgis Minnesota murder isn't typical; it's a curiosity when the corpse is found made into a snowman. Sheriff Plum Venerable doesn't know the first thing about heading a murder investigation but that doesn't stop him from settling old scores and unearthing secrets best left buried. Assisted by his well-meaning but trying deputy and his Amazonian granddaughter, Plum encounters fellow eccentrics of the odd town as he tries to find the murderer of the town's wealthiest millowner's son-in-law. What started out as a novel escapade turns into a grim, unwanted duty as the chase reveals a secret too horrible to contemplate and brings death to the door of someone Plum loves.
