Jacob Dell is an ordinary man who loves his family, and has an overall good life. But in a tragic accident, he no longer finds himself to be among the living. Transported to a new world, where there aren't such things as time, or emotions; Jacob is now introduced to his new duty. He is to become a messenger of God, an angel. His job now is to help all of those passing to the next world, to ease their pain and suffering, and guide them into the light. But in a place where past life memories do not exist, he is confused why his are coming back to him. Not only that, but he can feel certain emotions that he was told he would no longer have. Now with the powers he obtains, he will stop at nothing to find his wife and daughter and let them know that he is still there, watching over them. And when he finds that his daughter is deathly ill, he will go against orders and try to save her, even if it means jeopardizing his own existence.
