Industries have consolidated, markets have become more global, competitive pressures have intensified, communications and technology are dramatically advanced, and the talents for success are more demanding. Societal influences have changed what is considered "acceptable" behavior and this along with high time demand pressures have made many long standing corporate traditions obsolete.
