Gene Ivenetti is a shy, skinny kid of 10. He is constantly harassed and bullied by older peers as a result of his skinny frame. A resilient attitude compels him to fight back. Eventually, the controversial events cause Gene to go from being the neighborhood jackass to a hero in the eyes of the entire neighborhood.
