S. Chrystine began writing as a self-therapeutic aid, which has guided her through her life and adapting to a "normal" society. Living in a small town, growing up with a disability was hard and sometimes quite lonely. Her poetry has aided her by teaching her how to express her thoughts and emotions. It has also helped her battle through depression and tremendous feelings of loss and separation which comes with the feelings that you are "different" than the rest of society around you. Life's Whispers is a glance into S. Chrystine's life and Soul. Her Poems signify her joys and sorrows, her triumphs and her tribulations. Her work delves into her deepest emotions and brings them to the surface for her readers to read and experience along beside her. Bringing out her fears and the darkest corners of her conscience, as well as the happiest moments of her life and the lives of those she both loves, and has loved and lost.
