Charley's World: True Recollections of a Jinxed Man Charles Barron

A New York baby boomer dragged kicking and screaming first to Nashville and then to Moscow, Charles "Charley" Barron delivers a hilarious look at his life with this offbeat memoir, Charley's World. We all have mishaps, faux pas, gaffes, blunders, and accidents, but these are an integral part of every waking moment of Charley's existence. Born under an errant star, the mighty forces of the universe converge to constantly rain on Charley's life. Married with three children-or, as they call themselves, his constantly embarrassed victims-Charley takes what life has dealt him and turns it into the kind of humor that makes us cry a little, laugh a lot, and thank the heavens above that we do not live next door to him. Welcome to Charley's World, a place that gladdens the heart, lifts the human spirit, and makes you laugh out loud."There's a small army who write cute, but only a few who write funny. Charley writes funny."-The Tennessean " consistently hilarious, a rare talent"-The Stewart-Houston Times
