After a visit from her uncle, Sami spots something in the corner of herroom that she's never seen before. It's a large brown box that is blankon the outside, but there's something inviting about it-and against herbetter judgment, Sami opens the box. Inside, Sami discovers giant poles and an instruction booklet withpages that turn on their own. Once she puts the poles together to forma frame, Sami is sucked into a foreign world. Here she encounters ahouse that seems out of place, a horse of unexplained intelligence, anda telescope that allows her to see through objects. Hurried by time restrictions and forced to make difficult choices withonly confusing clues to guide her, Sami embarks on a quest to returnhome. On the journey she encounters people of all ages who sharestories about strangers who suddenly appear and seem to haveknowledge of future events. But can they aid Sami in her desperatesearch to find a way home?
