Heavy drug use, promiscuous sex, betrayals, all told out in the open by three separate narrators who each have a different idea of what is being set before them. The reader learns each of these characters' M. O. by how they handle the problems before them. The reader also learns that life in this sector of San Antonio is not as great or fun as first thought, especially when certain actions begin to polarize this once peaceful group of friends. Cruisin' Around "Say-Town", the debut novel of author Mike Mullins, presents a world where there are no easy answers, where selfishness and betrayal trump any hope of brotherhood and sisterhood, and finally that your only way out may not be in this world at all.
