Shubian's Rift James Cambas

It is the year 2126. Captain Sid Shubian and the crew of the Earth Exploratory vessel, Journeyman, travel through an artificially generated wormhole, sending them 100 light years distant. There, Shubian and crew find themselves in first contact with two civilizations embroiled in conflict and on the brink of interstellar war. Shubian's concerns turn to the strong possibility of the possible war being brought to Earth through the wormhole, and questions raised concerning the entire mystery behind the conflict.
