Holly for Christmas: a Short Story Cheryl Barton
Holly for Christmas: a Short Story
Cheryl Barton
Timothy Cornish hates every holiday season. Christmas was the worst for him. As an infant, left on the steps of a church by a family that didn't want him, he lived life going from one group home to another. He grew up not being able to separate his rough childhood from his adult life and it made him a Grinch for every season. Holly Day is vivacious and a breath of fresh air, even though she suffered through a rough life of group homes and foster care, but she happily survived. She never let it keep her from a happy life. When Bah Humbug Timothy meets Holly Day, sparks begin to fly and it has nothing to do with the fireworks celebrating the holiday. It's about what's beginning to sizzle between the two of them as she helps Timothy find that his past can be beneficial to the present and she's just the woman to help him see that.
