Let the magic of a Dreamtime legend transport you back in time to a more innocent world, where we meet Buckley, the 3 metre tall Yowie, as he encounters Europeans for the first time, helps to build a town, and is adopted by the Taylor family. In this story we celebrate this noble character of the Australian outback, who will soon become famous for his innocence, knowledge and wisdom.




The author, Tony Squire, was born in England but is now a citizen of Australia, where he resides, with his wife Sheila, in a town called Woolmar in Queensland, which is 5 minutes outside of Kilcoy; Yowie Country.
