The Adventures of Phoebe and Felix: A Day at The Fair is the first of a series of books for early childhood that introduces children to the basic building blocks of English. Phoebe and Felix go to an annual fair, where Phoebe meets a clown, a bear, and a hare. Thanks to the hare, she finds her best friend after realising she's lost him. While designed to engage a child's creative mind, the book introduces children to important linguistic devices, such as homophones and onomatopoeia.
