A Toy's Journey: a Tale of Lost and Found Treasure
Madeleine J Kurtz
Maddie Kurtz wrote this heart-warming story when she was 10-years old. It is the true story of Bonnie, a 13-year-old girl in New Jersey, who had a small Santa Claus toy that got lost and then miraculously turned up in Tennessee - the state that she now lives in, 40 years later. It is also the imagined story of the journey that toy took from New Jersey to Thailand to Russia to Tennessee, and all the people's lives it touched in that 40-year journey. And in the end, it's all about love.
