Private detective Donald Carter has been hired by a Russian antiques collector to track down three Fabergé eggs that would complete his collection. The value of the total collection is worth millions, but to the client the lives of people involved are worth nothing. Along with his close friend Michael Terratello and a mysterious woman Patricia Wade, Carter goes on an egg hunt that turns up more than he signed on for. With a Los Angeles police detective trying to tie Carter to several homicides time is not something that can be wasted.
