Mount Ephraim was a beacon of light in the midst of darkness until evil crept in through deceitful men. Conney is adamant to make a difference in the lives of those around her, but not everyone is a fan of her commitment. She becomes acquainted with a mysterious young girl by way of divine intervention. Over time, she finds herself caring for the young girl as she would her own daughter-unaware that she has a dangerous secret that threatens to destroy her. In the end, will goodness win or will the dark forces consume even the very elect?
