Why don't Christians go and get help? This was one thing Lisa would find out the hard way. From 1990-1993, while attending the Warm Place, a center in Fort Worth Texas for children and adults who have experienced a lost, Lisa thought the counselling sessions were only for her girls. She never processed anything regarding herself; she just wanted her children to be healed. Unfortunately, she did not realize she was in need of help as well. It took the death of her mother-in-law to bring to a head an embedded pimple called grief. Even so, it still took some years to pop! Once out of recovery, you slowly pick up with your everyday routine. God has given Lisa the message of if you don't deal with your IT, IT will deal with you. Lisa has written this book not only to bring healing to her own life, but to encourage others to seek out and get the help they need and also to encourage the power of journaling.
