This is a collection of poems written in the 1960s and 1970s, very tumultuous times. They are personal reflections of the external tumult and its effect on the internal longings, dreams and disappointments of a very young person. In deciding to publish them today, I meant to evoke those times for the generation that was born much later and into a new and different era. They cover a broad range of human experiences that my students who read them assure me are relevant today.
