This collection commemorates John J. McCloy for his dedication to public service and the furthering of human freedom. Among the positions he held were president of the World Bank, founding head of the U. S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, U. S. Assistant Secretary of War, and principal advisor to John F. Kennedy on arms control, among others. Co-published with the Aspen Institute.
