He lives in Silver City, New Mexico. Glenn R. Gibson is a professor of food microbiology at the University of Reading and the deputy head of the School of Food Microbial Sciences research unit. He has coauthored more than 250 research articles, runs more than 20 externally funded research projects, and is vice president and a founding member of the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics.
