In his lighthearted autobiography Captain Robert Bailey gives us a glimpse of the Music Hall: his Father a professional comedian. He tells of his adventures with boats on the Thames and shipwrecked off Foulness Island. Second World War conscription was a shock as he was in his thirties. He volunteered for the Indian Army.
