Through Other Eyes is a collection of short stories, each of which is a fictional rendering of a Bible story. What makes this anthology noteworthy is the fact that none of Fenton?s narrators are the Biblical narrator and so the perspective is different from that of the Biblical telling of the story. Most of the narrators are actually named in the story as found in the Bible. Historical and Biblical accuracy has been maintained in each story. Why didn't those Hebrew midwives kill all those little boys as Pharaoh had commanded? Which delivery was truly special?
