Principles for a Self-Directed Society sets forth four basic goals, which seem modest in their simplicity:




1. to live in peace

2. to restore the natural environment

3. health and prosperity

4. basic rights: freedom, privacy and equality




These goals are not radical or extreme. They are long-term goals, not easily attained; but they are goals which most reasonable people want for themselves and for their descendents.




This work is predicated on the principle that people working together can improve the world by consciously creating positive social change.
