Modern Philosophy, specifically the Selfishness Philosophy of Objectivism, owns reason. Modern Psychology, specifically the Ego Psychology of Biocentric Psychology, disowns faith. Modern Philosophy and Psychology want everything to do with reason and nothing to do with faith. Contrast this with Religion, ALL religions which want, desire, and seek, the opposite. In a sentence the entire book is an elaboration of the answer to that question: You achieve it by saying Yes to Objectivsim AND Biocentric Psychology. Part I of BiO Spiritualism deals with properly defining spiritualism. Part II deals with recovery issues as same relate to recovering from un-happiness. Part III deals with the never ending story of the Individual versus their only natural predator, that is, The Group, and shows why this battle is never ending and how the individual you can win it. Part IV is more application technology with a case like study of one Joshua Deer as he applies in reality what he has learned in therapy, namely, that reason and emotion are our best friends and faith and evasion our worst enemies.
