I first conceived My Dad Cancelled Christmas! in 2005. The central premise - a Dad who loses it on Christmas Eve and cancels the holiday - had my own three children in stitches. The story is narrated by the oldest of the children, a little girl who tells how her Dad had a bad day that grew worse when he arrived home to a house in shambles. The story is cute, hilarious and speaks not only to children, but adults as well. At 26 pages, the book can be read in ten minutes, but is so distinct and amusing that it can be enjoyed for a lifetime. - Sean Casey, Author
