Getting her articles kicked out of the Metro section has become normal. Drew leaps at the chance to redeem herself by chasing a breaking story. Instead, the assignment turns her life inside-out. She becomes the sole witness to politically motivated homicides. The only thing keeping Drew Morrissey alive is her quick wits. She lives on the run, chased by an assassin code-named Elijah. His connections reach everywhere Drew goes for help, including the FBI. Jake Balducci, head of the FBI's New York bureau, insists Drew go undercover, working for the people trying to kill her.
