Sexuality. It is this single common denominator among all species within the animal kingdom, which envelopes the power and desire to drive both dominance and destruction. As with the dichotomy of life and death, mankind's sexual expression rides on the crosscurrents of sin and salvation. Without it we fail to exist. With it our actions are influenced, our motives suspect and our greatness questioned. How can the discharge of an amalgamation of feelings contain such pent up emotional energy? Only its creator understands the simple complexity of its dual purpose and roles. Sexual Tension; Religion uses it for control. Industry uses it for profit. The poet uses it for expression.
