Mark and Amy Sutherland are the parents of four children, ages 5-11, and live near St. Louis, Missouri. Mark grew up surrounded by military aircraft from around the world, and was inspired at a young age by heroes in uniform. He has been writing for more than 20 years. When researching and writing Being a Blue Angel, Mark flew with the Blue Angels and spent time with the team on Naval Air Station Pensacola.
