In the process the boys and girls learn the difference between "work" and a "job" and one devoted father declares his commitment to the daughter he considers his most important work. What was once a journal entry has taken over two years to develop into a children?s book. Originally inspired by one father, the story has morphed and come to encompass the lives of many of Hartley?s friends and family members. homeWork has been a labor of love and an outlet for admiration of all the wonderful parents in her circle.
