Girl Blog from Tucson: a Novel of Sorts
Anne Wilensky
When Anne's life in NYC collapses she moves to Tucson (where she has never been). She and her husband and their dog fly out in middle of the night. Novel opens up when Anne has been in Tucson for 14 years and has returned to her writing. Her life is totally different from walk-up tenement in East Village. She has a car, she swims in public pool outside in winter, she and her husband and doggies live in house with backyard. She has become a desert rat with a New York accent. Anne is able to make such radical changes because she gets help from her Higher Self. This novel is the tale of how Anne moved to Tucson, what her NYC life had been like, and what her new Tucson life is like. The last chapter is the present, Anne's life has turned upside down, she finds it exhilarating.
