"When Love Whispered to My Soul" is a passionate journey that takes the reader to those four stages of love: The dream, the encounter with love, the loss of love, and the re-encounter of love. Ousmane Doumbia was born in Diourbel in central Senegal, West Africa, in 1972. He received his Masters Degree in English from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. He has worked as a library clerk and as an English/French translator and interpreter. In 2007, he accepted a two-year contract as personnel manager at a gold mine in the eastern part of his native land. Ousmane Doumbia has resided in Chicago with his wife since January, 2010.
