Change is an inevitable thing and life continues unfolding before our eyes. Allen starts out on an international-exchange program that challenges him more than just in the classroom. He embarks on a journey to discover parts of the world he had only previously been known through books. Although he is excited about exploring new cultures, he has reservations about being separated from his familiar surroundings. Leaping from North America to Scandinavia and finally Egypt. He encounters new cultures, unique people and complicated situations. These experiences bring a new awareness to his life. As the ideas of his past and his new reality begin to merge. Allen finds a way to breakthrough his doubts and reunite with the goals he set out to achieve.
