Brenda's story isn't too different than that of many young people who steal away to Hollywood as a refuge. Her problems lead her to pornography and ultimately "stardom." Later she has to cope after that bubble has burst. Along comes Professor Malcolm Hughes, head of the Psychology Department at LA's large, private university. He's been given a grant to study how to reintegrate people from the porn industry back to mainstream society. The catch is that his social ineptitude only makes the problem worse.
