Meadowlark Park is a green, grassy meadow, bordered with lots of trees and woodland habitat to invite wildlife. But there aren't any Meadowlarks in it. Lots of other birds live there and it is a very happy place. We, the birds, would like to share our lives with you. We've included stories about the other animals too. We have also included some Bible verses we heard the owner reading as she sat under the wild apple tree. Sometimes we stop in our busy day and just listen to her. Author Tami Whitmore has always loved watching birds, collecting abandoned nests and sharing them with children. Much of her year is spent watching birds and other wildlife in Meadowlark Park, near her house, and chronicling their adventures.
