This Crew of Mine: Getting out of Organized Crime Alive Troy Skinner

Getting into a life of crime was easy... Getting out might have been deadly. Rebellious, clever, and too wise for his years. As a fifth-grader, Troy Skinner became fascinated with the mob and its most notorious characters. He dreamed of one day running his own crew in his small town, and he was determined to be on top. He also dreamed of having a life that didn?t involve crime...however, those goals seemed out of his reach. The lure of a life of delinquency and slick money-making schemes started in his sleepy hometown in Nebraska. This true crime tale follows a troubled teen whose path to adulthood descended into organized crime, money, drugs, women, and booze. Trouble with the law was Troy?s middle name. Even as he pursued his dream to become a pro body builder, the temptations to push life to the extreme landed him in a load of trouble, until a little luck intervened and revealed a new path. This Crew of Mine tells a story of regret and missed opportunities, but also redemption and hope for a better life.
