With three editions of Bourbon Mixology published, author Steve Akley wanted to expand beyond just signature bourbon cocktails from iconic bars. This time he wanted to take a look at themed drinks. Two categories that seemed like natural fits were coffee-themed and holiday-themed creations. Coffee is a drink enjoyed by so many people in the morning it's amazing it hasn't expanded further into the cocktail world. Steve has 19 bars sharing their signature coffee cocktail with you. Another area he thought would be good to focus on was holiday-themed cocktails.
