Publisher Marketing: This collection of over 600 original quotes and poems contains reflections on common life issues that keep surfacing in our pursuits. Recognizing these issues and possessing astute techniques to address them are vital for maximizing our life and our enjoyment of it. All these quotes and poems carry a connection with my book Philosophy of Happiness. This is hardly surprising since happiness fundamentally depends on how we fare in our pursuits and selecting their objectives. However, Philosophy of Happiness explores the entirety of human happiness and takes a comprehensive approach toward its accomplishment. This collection more topically addresses and illustrates a few of the most prominent concerns in human struggle. Like Philosophy of Happiness, this book is not meant to state indisputable wisdom. Rather, its goal that is shared with all my other publications is to make readers think and feel, delve deeper into what matters for them, and find motivation and understanding for a better life. A notable exception to matters covered in this collection is the pursuit of love and its vicinities. This motivation looms so large that it warrants the separate dedication of a contemporaneously published collection, Love Knowing Love.
